How can I get reimbursed for shipping after a return is closed?
The seller told Ebay he sent me a label but he didn't . The batteries he had a picture of on Ebay were Milwaukee's. When I received the batteries they were an off brand instead. Now the return is closed & I am out out $18.09 return shipping. The order number is 22-13943-91226. I was hoping Ebay would see this & contact me. Is there a customer service email or something? A representative never calls me back.

OP8 months agoHe only wanted to give me a partial refund on my refund & take $10.00 off for selling me 2 sets of the Milwaukee 2 pack batteries. They had to step in for me to get my full refund. The seller told Ebay he furnished me with a return label. He then sent me an email stating he would reimburse me & still hasn't. I have sent a copy of the receipt in the messages that we have sent to each other.

Mentor8 months agoSo you opened a return request. What reason did you give? It should have been not as described. The seller would then have 3 business days to either provide a paid label or just refund you outright. If not, on the 4th day, you could have asked eBay to step in to force a refund. Is this what happened? Sounds like you let the case time out by not asking eBay to step in. I'm not sure why you purchased a label. A few more details would help.

eBay cannot force a seller to reimburse you for shipping you paid outside of a return request.
If the seller was not able to provide a return label when you opened a return request, you needed to ask eBay for help then. They could have forced the seller to send you the money to pay for the return.
