How can I get a human?!
Summary: The discussion initiated by kor_9181 revolves around the topic of seeking human interaction or assistance, as indicated by the subject line "How can I get a human?!" However, the content of the post is not available, as both posts simply state "None." jacbarcollectibles responded but also left their message blank, resulting in a lack of specific details or context for the discussion.
I purchased a party supply kit on eBay specifically because the listing guaranteed delivery by May 15, 2026. That guaranteed delivery date was the deciding factor in my purchase because the items were needed for a time-sensitive event.
The package did not arrive by the guaranteed date, making the items unusable for their intended purpose. Once it became clear the shipment would be late, I attempted to intercept or cancel the order but was unable to get assistance from either the seller or eBay support in time.
Now the package has finally arrived late, and I am being told that I must pay return shipping costs out of my own pocket in order to receive a refund.
I do not believe buyers should be financially penalized when a guaranteed delivery commitment was not honored. Had the actual delivery timeline been accurately represented, I would never have purchased this item.
I am requesting either:
• A prepaid return shipping label with a full refund upon return
or
• A full refund without requiring a return due to the missed guaranteed delivery
The lack of timely seller response and inability to reach meaningful human support has been extremely frustrating. I am asking for eBay to review this situation fairly and intervene appropriately under its buyer protection and guaranteed delivery policies.
If this cannot be resolved reasonably, I will seriously reconsider using eBay in the future.

Mentor4 months agoReceiving the item after the last estimated delivery date can be considered as an "Item not as described". However, keep in mind that no delivery dates are guaranteed by either the seller or eBay. They only give you an estimated delivery date. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to open an “item not as described case”. This overrides the sellers return policy. Go to your Purchase History and find the item. Then under “More actions” click on “Return item” and then select the reason for the return as “doesn't match description". It may ask you to attach a photo so the seller and eBay can see what was received. The seller will need to send you a prepaid return label and once the item is returned they have three days to refund you. After this time has passed you would have to go to your payment source to see what help they can give.
