How can I file a fraud claim against eBay. Seller sent wrong item said would replace and didn't.
20 messages and emails sent to no avail. I was sent wrong item, seller stated they would replace when they received wrong item back. When received they did not send correct item they simply quietly issued me a partial refund. I want 100% of my purchase price refunded not partial. It was entirely the vendors mistake... and it was an eBay guaranteed fit. Not seller says they issued a full refund and said eBay took out the $40 this is completely unacceptable. I really feel cheated and will continue efforts to get my money back.

Mentor2 years ago@ggo1022. Did you contact customer service in regards to not receiving a full refund?
eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.
1. CLICK THIS LINK:
https://www.ebay.com/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid
2. Request a call back
Or if that doesn't work then do as @mr_lincoln suggested and contact your payment source.

OP2 years agoI've been screwed out of $34 paying for a vendor mistake, simple as that. All the correspondence is documented in my message center. Neither parts2 catalog nor eBay has done one simple thing to get me my full refund and I'm outraged. This has been going on for weeks and I've read page after page after page after page on eBay's "Help Topics" I've jumped through hoop after hope of eBay's processes and yet I'm still out $34. This has been the worst retail experience of my life regarding incompetent customer service plagued with roadblock after roadblock. It's hard for me to comprehend how such an entity can even exist with these practices. I just want to receive my complete refund and I'm done with this and eBay forever.

Mentor2 years agoHi @ggo1022
I'm not sure that a Seller issuing a partial refund on an item would prevent you from filing a INAD return (Item not as described) via the item in your purchase history. Using the reason does not match pictures or description will allow eBay to issue you a pre paid shipping label for the return and the Seller will have to refund you within 2 days of receipt of the return. This has to be done within 30 days of YOU receiving the item.
PayPal allows up to 180 days for claims but on a return you would pay the return shipping.
Credit cards allow charge backs so that is an option if you paid with one.
The issue is not with eBay it is with the Seller.
