How can I convince Ebay that My Item has been received by the buyer
Summary: antiquevintageandnew is experiencing an issue with an eBay transaction where the delivery of an item they sold is not being recorded as complete, despite the buyer confirming receipt. This discrepancy is preventing them from receiving their payment. disneyshopper suggests accessing the carrier's website via the tracking number and updating the email to receive up-to-date tracking information, hoping this might resolve the issue.
I am not sure what has happened to cause this event but I am at the end of my rope. I sold an item on August 7th at which time I messaged the buyer to thank the for their purchase, and ordered the shipping label through the ebay app. The item was scanned by the post office on the 10th, and was delivered to the buyer on the 13th. The buyer then confirmed they had received it in a message on the 14th. However, for some reason, the item still does not say that it has been delivered. In fact, it says that I shipped it using UPS and I actually shipped it via the USPS and have a tracking number. I am not able to collect my payment from ebay due to the carrier not reporting that the item was delivered, even though the BUYER actually confirmed receipt of the item!!! Ebay told me that they cannot use that as confirmation of receipt, which I don't understand, I would think that is the most important confirmation of receipt that could possibly be given!! What do I do?

Mentor3 weeks agoGo to the Sold & shipped item, click on the tracking number to be taken to the carrier's website. Look for the link to enter your email address to be sent updated tracking information. That should lead the carrier to updating the tracking information to ebay.
