How Can I Appeal a Closed Case With New UPS Evidence After 30 Days?
Summary: bbowling1957 is seeking advice on how to reopen a closed eBay case for an item not received, after obtaining new evidence from UPS indicating a shipping error. They have surpassed the 30-day appeal period and are unable to submit this evidence through eBay’s support system. comics-scifi-collectibles suggests pursuing a chargeback with the payment method used, recommending this as the most viable option now given the limitations on reopening the eBay case. They also offer to provide further assistance if the chargeback process is unsuccessful.
How can I get a closed item-not-received case reviewed when I now have new evidence from UPS?
I purchased four 30-lb bags of Royal Canin dog food on June 28, 2026, for $224.54. The order was marked delivered on July 8, but I never received it. eBay Customer Service closed my case, and the 30-day appeal period has passed.
On September 29, UPS confirmed in writing that the address associated with the seller’s tracking number differs from my address. UPS specifically classified the discrepancy as a “shipper error.”
I cannot get past the closed case in eBay’s support system to submit this new evidence. I am still out $224.54.
What is the correct way to reach an eBay representative who can manually review the UPS confirmation and reconsider the case?
Order number: 11-14827-73163
Item-not-received case: 5383173320
Seller: universalcart_1
I would appreciate help reaching someone who can review the evidence.

Unfortunately eBay will not reopen a closed case if the 30 day appeal period has passed.
Your only option now is a chargeback with your payment method. Be sure to present them with all of the information in regards to the false tracking scam.
Let me know if your payment method doesn't refund you as their are additional steps to take but they take a lot of work on your part.
