How can I add an Allstate Protection Plan after purchase within the 30-day window?

Hi, I purchased an eligible item on eBay on August 28 and would like to add an Allstate Protection Plan.
According to eBay's Allstate information page, a protection plan can be purchased within 30 days of the item purchase. However, I cannot find any option to add the plan on my Order Details page, and I also did not receive a post-purchase email with an option to purchase it.

I tried asking the eBay AI chat, but it gave me conflicting information. At one point it said the plan could only be added during checkout, which seems inconsistent with eBay's own 30-day policy.
Has anyone recently been able to add an Allstate Protection Plan after completing a purchase? If so, where is the actual link or option?
I would also appreciate any advice on how to reach a human eBay support agent, since the Help system is only giving me the AI chat.

Mentor3 days agoYou cannot purchase the plan through eBay. You have to contact Allstate directly to make the purchase. You will need the eBay item number to make the purchase.
