How can a seller UNBLOCK a buyer that he accidentally blocked in the past?
Can someone help me with this please? Ebay has braindead people working for them:
RESTRICTION OR SUSPENSION by previous seller 10 years ago.
Case: My username is mxxxxxxxx. The seller is "PERxxxxxxx". The original seller of "PERxxxxxxx" had blocked me several years ago because I posted negative feedback because he sent me wrong size item and was refusing to exchange. Seller was based in Florida and his name was Dan. Sometime the last 10 years the Florida seller, Dan, SOLD his Ebay store "PERxxxxxxx" to another seller in Germany, named Bxxxx Bxxxx, who operates the store under the SAME name "PERxxxxxxx" This is a new seller with the same name as the seller "PERxxxxxxx" who had blocked me many years ago. This new German "PERxxxxxxx" seller is very friendly and wants to help me and remove the block, because he never blocked me, but he does not know how.
I had to buy $700 worth of items from this seller (Bxxxx Bxxxx) using his website www.perxxxxxxcom and not Ebay because everytime I would add an item to my basket from seller's Ebay store "PERxxxxxxx" I would get an error: "An item you selected was not added to your cart because the seller will not sell to buyers that do not meet their requirements". If I choose to "Buy Now" I would get the error: "The seller will not accept any bids or price proposals from you".
I spoke with new seller of "PERxxxxxxx" in Germany, Bxxxx Bxxxx, and he does not know why this is happening. It is happening because when he took over the Ebay store "PERxxxxxxx" from the past seller in FL, the setting the previous seller had placed remained the same. The new owner of the Ebay store "PERxxxxxxx" in Germany wants to know how to unblock me. So I contacted Ebay to speak with an agent and receive steps to forward to seller on how he can unblock my account so I can buy from his ebay store instead of his website www.persvision.com.
Do you understand the problem here? I hope I was clear enough. I asked Ebay to send me those steps to forward to seller or send seller the instructions he needs to unblock my Ebay account "mxxxxxx". I also asked Ebay to give me a code and a phone number to contact customer service. I want to resolve this ASAP. I have over 1,000 ALL positive feedbacks and I am a great buyer with no problems.

OP2 years agoGOD bless you!!!! The eBay customer service was unable to help and kept me on the phone for 45minutes trying to find the solution. They did not know how to do it.

Ebay needs to reset all the settings when an Ebay store changes ownership. The old seller from 9 years ago had blocked me and the settings remained the same, so the new seller that bought his Ebay store had me blocked too. Well not anymore thanks to the links you provided. Thanks again!!!
