How bidding works
When you place a bid does it go right to your price ?
For example if the current bid is 10 and I say my maximum bid is 50, will the current bid change to 59? Or will my maximum only be activated if needed to outbid the current bid?

Your maximum will only be activated if needed to outbid another bidder's bid amount.
