How a seller can take advantage of unsuspecting buyers on ebay.

This is one way a buyer is helpless on ebay. The seller empties out the contents and sends an empty box for an item costing $185.73.

The buyer is helpless. The seller does not accept returns. So long as the package (even if it's empty, or packed with tissue paper instead of the original item) the unsuspecting buyer has to suffer and can do nothing to get back his refund. All he gets is the automated messages that refund cannot be given. Sad!!

I must say, though that this is the first time a seller is trying to do this, in my case. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. HOPE EBAY WILL NIP THIS IN THE BUD AND ENSURE IT NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN.

I opened the package and immediately reported to ebay. Sent the photographs of what i received on the very day I received the package. Yet I get automated messages that the refund cannot be given.

Did you open an item not as described case within 30 days of receiving the item? I am thinking you didnâ€™t. If you did, eBay would have made sure you were refunded.
