Horrible customer service on ebay and no return

I purchased a redmi Harry Potter phone from " a trusted seller here on ebay" Ruby Anne stated. The phone works like turns on and off and.some chinese still on the phone because it's from china. I message seller everytime I needed help which he did help me with downloading Google services on the phone. I purchased the phone July 17th, it's August 19th I get it's passed 30 days but I have messaged the seller when the phone started shutting down out of nowhere. The apps weren't working the phone is like faulty. He immediately said no to my return and ebay says if the seller says no they can help 100% money back guarantee. They said they can't help me. What can I do besides taking a 700$ loose?

Since you missed the deadline for help from eBay, you can open an item not as described case with PayPal if you funded your payment that way. Otherwise, pursue a chargeback with your credit card company.

You can file a Return Request within 30 days of delivery.

Go to your Purchase History, find the item, and under â€œMore actionsâ€ click on â€œReturn itemâ€ and select the reason for the return. (defective")
The seller will have 3 days to either accept the return and provide a prepaid return shipping label OR refund without having you return the item.
If they don't do either, you can go back to your Return Request details 4 days after you filed the Request and ask Ebay to step in.
If the seller is from another country, s/he will have to send enough funds to cover return shipping, because the seller cannot provide a shipping label good in this country, or refund in full without having you return the item. If the seller does neither, click on the link to Ask ebay to step in, when it shows up in the case.
