Holds
After my seventh sale was 100% feedback. I still have to wait almost a month to get paid. Can somebody please explain to me why and I’m not talking about their policy but exactly why and how many items you have to sell before you get paid in a timely manner. It’s absolutely ridiculous. if the seller confirms the item is good you should get paid immediately

Mentor1 year agoThe last item you sold was valued over $1,000. Any sale of $1,000 or more will have the funds automatically held for 30 days no matter the sellers rating or how long they have been a seller. Too many high value items were causing problems after eBay made the payout.

No. No one can tell you that with any precision.
Scammers aren't stupid. If eBay publicly says: "Once any seller sells a dozen items worth $250 total [or any other amount] then seller holds will permanently end for that account" then as a direct result, scammers will set up straw purchases to meet those limits to avoid any future holds before starting their scams and disappearing with buyers' money.
There is no single limit you must meet that will guarantee preventing payment holds that eBay will publicize -- any sale could potentially be held for thirty days, particularly for new or infrequent sellers, but also for experienced sellers selling in a new category or for very expensive sales. Experienced sellers may run into such holds less often, but it is always a possibility, since even experienced accounts can be hijacked.
