Holding my money from a sell
I have been using eBay since 2011. I have been selling this holiday season. I sold a Louis Vuitton bag for $200. The buyer said she did not receive the bag. eBay gave her back her money. I bought the postage from EBay. I contested their decision and lost. After I lost, they restricted my acct. I could no longer sell my items. I have called over and over again. They keep telling me to fill out a paper that they never sent me and would not resolve the issue unless I went back to 2011 and provide them with the tracking numbers of everything I sold. I am not computer literate and can’t do that. I sold 2 Gucci bags for a total of $1025 and need to pay my property taxes today. They won’t give me my money or return my 2?bags so I can sell them somewhere else. What should I do? I am so stressed out and had to go to the hospital for an IBS attack.

Mentor2 years agoWhen the buyer filed the non receipt for the Louis Vuitton bag, did you upload the tracking number showing it was DELIVERED to the buyer? If you did, then you should have won the case. Since you stated that ebay refunded the buyer, it would appear the tracking number never showed DELIVERED.
Your 2 Gucci bags have the Authenticity Guarantee, so once authenticated, they will be sent to the buyers. If they do not pass authentication, the bags are returned to you and the buyers are refunded.
Sellers are not restricted after one lost case, so there must be several others in the past.

Mentor2 years agoIf you have a lost package, file an insurance claim with the carrier - the 3 major carriers all give you $100 of insurance included with your label. It will only cover the $100 unless you added more to cover the full value.
There is some miscommunication, I think. You can not retrieve tracking info that far back, and I don’t think they would ask for it.
Your bags went to the authenticator, so I doubt those payments are ready to be released yet.
You should try asking customer service again what specifically they need. I would ask via social media so you have something written to refer to.

Mentor2 years agoIf you had tracking showing the bag was delivered you do not refund and ebay won't either. So there are some missing details here.
Did buyer open a Item Not Received dispute?
Did you respond with the tracking number with in the time limit showing the bag was delivered?
As far as anything back in 2011, it's years too late for resolve anything from that far back.
