Your funds would not be on hold based on this Buyer's history.
All infrequent Sellers will have their funds held for approximately 30 days in the event of a refund request. Buyers are allowed up to 30 days to request a refund and the Seller needs to have the funds available to cover that. That is especially true for sales over $1,000.
Once you have additional successful sales, eBay should start releasing your funds sooner.

OP5 months agoIt has never happened before and it was only for a couple hundred dollars, whereas a $2000 sale went thru normally last week. It is just random and frustrating.
