Hobbyist Developer Registration Rejected - Requesting Manual Review
I attempted to register for an eBay Developers Program account over 24 hours ago, but whenever I try to sign in, I receive an automated rejection error stating that my registration was rejected due to data problems or unspecified irregularities. I believe this was an automated filter flag, and I would like to request a manual review of my application.
For context, I am an independent, hobbyist programmer building a private, personal application for my own educational use. Because I am an individual developer and do not run a formal business, I registered using my personal email address.
Project Details:
Purpose: Personal, non-commercial price analysis tool.
Functionality: The program will download the first few pages of search results for a specified item to calculate and return the average, maximum, and minimum prices for the current listings.
Data Usage: This is strictly for private analytical purposes and will not power any public-facing website, commercial service, or high-volume scraping activity.
