Historic KKK items--original from 1920's H.Q. in Lttle Rock
I would like to list some Ku Klux Klan items which I purchased from a retired book dealer many years ago. All original---no mean spirited items. Included are mostly paper items (all unused) such as applications to join, notices of membership, Klabee money receipt, dues record receipts, applications for membership to The Second Degree. Appears to be office type stuff. Also some red shiny cloth sash's which maybe were used in marches. All items related to Women of the Ku Klux Klan. I am hesitant to list them without prior approval for eBay, however, have tried for two days to reach a person to talk to for possible approval but have had not one bit of success. Any help would be appreciated.

I strongly suggest you open the link in the post, above, from "disneyshopper," and read it carefully. It is eBay's policy, directly from the eBay User Agreement. It necessarily leaves a lot open to interpretation about whether specific items are allowed. To the best of my knowledge, eBay never reviews any listings before they go active to make sure they are not prohibited items. (Let alone completely accurate listings.)
Only YOU, as the seller, get to make the final decision to list or not.
I think the only way to know for sure whether your items are allowed or not is to list at least one of them.
Any eBay user can click on the down arrow and report any listing as offensive. That will result in a review by eBay. (I don't know enough about the process, though, to tell you whether real people or bots do the review.)
Who knows, though? Somebody might buy one of those items specifically so that he/she can destroy it.

If you had been able to reach one of the outsourced customer service agents, there's a chance that you would have been told it's okay and go ahead. They have the reputation of telling the caller whatever the caller wants to hear, to get him off the line in a hurry. eBay considers the KKK a hate group, and prohibits listing items associated with the group.
Some odd trivia I came across a long time ago. One of the founders of the Ku Klux Klan in 1865 was named John Kennedy. That's John Booker Kennedy, not to be confused with John Fitzgerald Kennedy, our 35th president.
