High shipping fees by ebay
How do I set shipping fees on my listed items?
mom selling a hat and eBay wants 57.00 to ship a 20 dollar hat. No one will buy.

Mentor3 years agoThe cost of shipping is determined by the package size and weight, the distance between you and the buyer, and the carrier and class of service. It's not related to item price.
If the item is oversized, the cost includes surcharges. In that case, ground shipping rather than Priority Mail would be more cost-effective.
Set up your listing using calculated shipping so that the cost is based on the buyer's zip code. The cost will be more reasonable the closer the buyer location is to you.
