Hi I bought an Ebay gift card. Have been buying them for about 15 years. Part of code is missing.

I reported missing code to Ebay. Have been buying them about 10 years. Ebay rep asked if I properly scratched card and told me to go back to merchant but merchant told me to deal with Ebay. I have receipt and read most of the code ro Ebay rep.

Here is what the eBay gift card FAQ page says:

Your name, email address, and phone number
A picture of the back of the gift card
A picture of the purchase receipt for the gift card
Your eBay account name
The gift card redemption code, if legible"
