ohhh, i see so since i sent an offer yesterday to a potential buyer i am unable to edit my listing? is thast correct? When wil i know when i can update my listing, or when do i know whether offer was accepted or rejected? Thank you for your hep
You can ADD to the description, but you cannot change the original description. It shows underneath the original. When I have done this in the past, I make the addition in another color so it is obvious.
-- You can't revise the listing if there is an Auction Bid or an outstanding Best Offer (including a Counteroffer or Offer to Watchers) on the listing.
Once the Offers are declined or expired, then you will be able to revise a fixed price listing.
If there is something material wrong and you don't want the buyer to buy, you can end the listing, make your corrections and relist.

Typically those offers are 48 hours, but some are longer or shorter.
If the buyer accepts or declines your offer, you will get a message.
Generally, offers just "expire" and there is no official notice.
If you use the website, just go to your listing, and click here on Manage Offers
Then you'll be able to see how much longer the offer has. When the offer is expired, you can add a photo and delete a photo.
