Hi everyone! Urgent help needed.

Question

I got outbid on an item. I then made an offer on another similar item. Someone retracted their bid and now I'm stuck buying two expensive things. I feel super manipulated by the retraction.

All bids remain active until the end of the auction. [We are ALL told this before we confirm your bid in an auction.] You can try doing one of the following:

Retract your bid. [This is technically 'not allowed' ... so DO NOT make a habit of it.]
Retract your offer. [This also is technically 'not allowed'.]
Request one of the sellers to cancel the transaction IF you've already won both items.

You were not "super manipulated" by the retraction. You bid is still considered LIVE until after the auction has ended. Being outbid doesn't mean that you could not still become the winner.
