Help with Understanding How this is Fair
l have a 14k white gold and pave diamond station necklace listed.
I more that there is a solder mark in the description, I add colorful arrows to the photos to point out that there is a solder mark where the chain may have had repair done to it.
Full transparency!
I sell the item TWICE , both buyers realized they didn't like the solder mark...
Anyways, the main point is that this chain was authenticated on the way to the buyer(s) 2 times and 2 times back to me the seller, for a total authentication of 4 times. All approved by authentication.
I see the chain a 5th time and authentication stops it and says the total carat weight is .10 not .20 even though I also state "ALL weights and measurements are an approximate as stones cannot be removed from setting".
Also I believe this one authenticator possibly didn't realize the chain was DOUBLE sided?
The worst part being that a eBay representative was kind enough to have a supervisor reach me and the supervisor basically said here's nothing they can do!?!
Which I also handle a local jewelry account's eBay and I know this is untrue,
I just can't believe it!
I was going to try to call eBay again to get a different supervisor as it is like roulette with which agent you get to help you on the phone and who really cares.
Beyond furious...
Because I swear I try so hard to do right by eBay! and buyers just get to walk all over sellers and the protection for sellers and fees are making it impossible to sell on eBay.
At least this is where I stop selling jewelry on eBay 10000%.
They are absolutely wrong in this matter and it should be made right!!
