a buyer bought this sealed gaming handheld, they opened it up and they see a line on the device (on the screen), they told me either to refund the whole amount and they return it to me or refund 100$ and they keep it,I instead say how about i refund you 30 dollars for the small repair also offered to help them look for a repair shop or they can return the device and i refund them 100 since the item is no longer sealed,i called ebay two time to ask if they will side with me and they said yes but buyer just asked put for a return what do i do

Do NOT give the buyer any money unless they return the item.
The buyer has to file a Return Request, you approve the request, provide a prepaid return shipping label and DO NOT refund until your receive the returned item.
Ebay will NOT "side" with you if you do anything outside of the Ebay Return Request process.
