Help with shipping issue.
Summary: wanderlust_trading_co is experiencing issues with a listing on eBay where the shipping weight and dimensions revert to incorrect defaults, inflating the shipping cost. They are seeking advice on how to fix or bypass this calculation. disneyshopper suggests selecting custom packaging, choosing USPS, using calculated shipping, and manually entering the correct weight and dimensions.
Hello all,
I'm a new store and doing pretty well for just starting, but I have a stubborn listing that will never sell based on the auto populated shipping weight and dimensions. Every time I change it, it reverts back to what eBay thinks it should be (my assumption). The default calculated shipping is $55 on a $$39.99 item. Ebay's calculation is 5" x 6" x 2" too big and 2 lbs heavier. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this or bypass eBay's calculation? Thanks in advance.

Mentor1 week ago@wanderlust_trading_co Are you using the advanced listing tool in Seller Hub on a computer? That is the best listing tool and you can turn off the automation where eBay tries to "help" by changing the package dimensions and weight.
Opt in to Seller Hub here> https://www.ebay.com/sh/ovw
Create Listing on the upper right of the overview page OR go to your drafts> https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/drafts
Click where it says see pricing options on the listing form and toggle off everything you don't wish to use.
