Help with return for refund
Summary: fal_9363 purchased an incorrect part on eBay, initially intending to buy a Transmission Control Module (TCM) but ending up with an Engine Control Module (ECM) instead. The purchase was financed through Klarna, and fal_9363 seeks advice on resolving the issue. lady_madonna suggests checking the seller's return policy once the item is received, noting that return shipping costs might be the buyer's responsibility, and highlighting that this situation might not be covered by eBay's Money Back Guarantee.
I'm brand new to ebay. I made a purchase for transmission control module (TCM) after calling the dealer for their price and part number. I used the part number given to me to buy a TCM from Bamparts (34473) on ebay. After the purchase that was financed through Klarna I showed a picture of it to my mechanic who advised that the part was incorrect. He advised that I purchased an (ECM) Engine Control Module. So, now I'm waiting on a part that is incorrect and have made a finance agreement with Klarna. Are there any suggestions on how to remedy my dilemma?
