Help with fraudulent seller
Summary: captaincollectables is seeking assistance after ordering two Mac Pros that never arrived. Instead of receiving the computers, they got a gas cap, making it appear as if the shipment was completed. The seller has manipulated the situation by requesting a partial refund without captaincollectables's consent and leaving positive feedback for themselves. This has prevented captaincollectables from filing a fraud report or obtaining a refund through eBay. The issue involves two seller accounts, likely operated by the same individual, resulting in a loss of over $600. They are asking for help to resolve the issue and get a refund.
I ordered two Mac pros and they never arrived, somehow the seller requested a partial refund, not from myself.
Then the seller posted positive feedback on their own sale from the purchase .
So when I try to file fraud from eBay because the partial refund blocks my from reporting it.
Then when I ask for a refund ebay also blocks me because of the partial refund.
Then I received a gas cap, so the shipping on the computer shows delivered.
These were two different seller accounts, but obviously they are the same person.
Can anyone help me get these two computers refunded, over $600 spent.

Open a Return Request and ship back the gas cap.
I am sorry that happened!
You should open a Return Request. The reason could be "Damaged or Defective Item", "Missing Parts & Pieces" OR "Different from what I ordered > Didn't Match Description" if the item you got was not what was shown and described.
You can open your return request here. Just click the photo and follow the instructions.

If the seller doesn't provide a refund or a valid return label after 3 full business days; you will be able to Ask eBay to Step In

Do not close your return request until you either have your refund in hand or you have the replacement item. Do not close it because the seller promises you something.
