Help with delivery issue for first time seller
Summary: geger2791 is a new eBay seller who combined multiple orders for the same buyer into one package to save on shipping costs. However, they forgot to update the tracking number on eBay, resulting in funds being held until delivery confirmation. They’re seeking advice on resolving this issue, as the eBay AI chatbot has been unhelpful.
So I started selling on eBay and got a couple of orders right away, 2 were multi-orders for the same person, so I put them both in the same box to save on shipping for the buyer, but I didn't know I had to copy over the tracking number. I just found out how to copy over the tracking numbers, but both packages were delivered today. Now eBay says my funds are being held until the package is delivered, which, of course, it won't update.
What do I do next? The help center has the AI chatbot that can't follow what I'm asking it, and this is the only place where I can possibly ask another human for help.

There is no way to mark the item delivered now - you will have to wait the full 30 days for your payment.
Next time that you have multiple orders from the same buyer, use bulk shipping to combine them into a single shipment. The system will then apply the tracking # to all of the items.
Go to the label purchase page of one of the items, then click buy labels in bulk in the upper right. On the bulk page, click combine by buyer. Change the weight and dimensions then purchase the label.
