eBay started a refund after reaching out to manufacturer but ended refund and closed case. They no longer refunding me because they said I violated terms by asking seller for a refund when item was listed as non refundable. I didn’t know this.
Please help. I wasted $200 on a trash item.i cannot reach eBay since they said case is closed .

When was this item purchased on eBay?
The eBay Money Back Guarantee protects your Purchases for up to 30 days from delivery.
Usually eBay will not close a Money Back Guarantee claim unless the Buyer started a chargeback with their bank.
If you haven't filed for that yet, you could try but there are deadlines there as well.

OP4 months agoThank you. His would I bypass the message stating that Case is closed and cannot be reopened?

Mentor4 months agoOnce closed, an eBay case cannot be reopened.
Your recourse would be through your payment method once that happens.

If eBay can no longer help, you may still have recourse through your payment method. Many credit cards offer some protection for items that are not as described for up to six months from the date of purchase. Check with your card issuer or bank for details.
