Help with a return

Can anyone direct me on how to get help on return an item? The system says itâ€™s not able to locate the item # or order #. I have all my documentation and tried called the # (18004563229). And they as unable to speak to a live agent.

If you made the purchase as a guest, you cannot use your Ebay account to file the return request.

Sign out of your Ebay account and locate the Order Confirmation from Ebay.

Select View order details in your order confirmation email.
Select Return item.
Select your reason for the return and select Next.
You can add a message to the seller and also upload up to 10 photos showing the item's condition.
Select Confirm return.

If/when your return request is accepted, Ebay will send you an email with the subject "Send the item back". Make sure you ship the return by the date in this email to avoid any delays or issues in the refund process.

If the seller does not cooperate, you can ask Ebay to step in to help you:

To access your request details, you can either:

From your order confirmation email, go to View order details, then select Resolutions
From the email you received when you opened the request, go to See request details

From the request details, simply select Ask eBay to step in and help.

If you do not see the item in your Purchase history, it sounds like you may have made the purchase as a Guest.

Guest purchases are separate from items you purchase while logged into your account.

Check your email for a message from ebay that includes the PASSCODE that was given to you. Log in with that email address and PASSCODE and you should be able to file a case for Item Not Received, or a Returns Request, as the case may be.
