Help with a refund request
The buyer first contacted me because the package had not arrived on the estimated delivery date. I informed him that once he received the item, he could return it and I would issue a refund.
However, the buyer later opened the package even though he had already stated he no longer wanted the item. After opening it, he requested a refund again, claiming it did not work with his other devices.
The product I sold was brand new and sealed. Because the buyer opened the package, the item has now lost value, and the outlet cable is also missing.
For these reasons, I cannot accept the return in the same condition it was sent.

Mentor5 months agoYou do not have a choice. If the buyer has a problem with the item and files a return request for "item not as described" You need to accept the return and refund the buyer in full.
There is no way to refuse the return. If you do not accept the return, eBay will force you to refund the buyer.
You may want to report the buyer once you get the item back and refund the buyer.
