Help with a money back guarantee order through email
I am purchasing a vehicle on Facebook marketplace that the seller wants to use eBay to go through but the payment seems sketchy. It says I need to pay in Apple or eBay gift cards. I want to know if I can use my credit or debit instead.
â€
- Payment must be submitted via eBay Cards or Apple Cards and they can be purchased with cash at thousands of stores nationwide
- Through eBay Cards or Apple Cards services we can guarantee you 100% protection and insurance in this transaction. eBay will secure the payment until the buyer receives, inspects and accepts the vehicle. Or, if it will be the case, eBay will refund the payment to the buyer.
For security reasons the eBay Cards or Apple Cards needs to be completed in person at any US Post Offices, CVS, Rite Aid, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Albertsons, Best Buy, Fred Meyer, K-mart, Kroger, Ralphs, Safeway, Stop & Shop, Walgreens and anywhere you see the eBay Gift Cards sign. The cashier will collect your cash and load it into the eBay Gift Cards or apple cards. Just purchase your eBay Gift Cards or apple cards, use cash to load it and you are ready to go. In order to avoid any mistakes when buying the eBay Gift Cards, you need to purchase the scratch-able cards - The total value of your cards must be $600.00. You can add up to $200.00 onto an eBay Card or you can put up to $500.00 onto an Apple Card. You need to buy as many eBay Cards or Apple cards as you need to complete the payment. (for a payment of $600.00 you have to purchase 3 (three) eBay Cards loaded with $200.00 each or you can purchase 2 (two) Apple Cards loaded with $300.00 each.)
*NOTE: Payment must be made within the next 48 hours.
Any invoices that are not paid within 48 hours will expire and your vehicle will no longer be reserved.â€

Mentor1 year ago@ezekai12 If you saw the listing on another site and they said "eBay will handle the sale" it's a SCAM.
eBay has NOTHING to do with sales on another site.
Always pay for vehicles in person with cash or bank transfer after you have inspected the vehicle carefully.
Never pay for a car with gift cards of ANY kind
