Help with a fault item
I bought a Samsung tablet in February for my partner’s birthday in April. When it arrived I powered it on and off to check ot was working. I didn’t try to connect it to the internet.
2 months later I gave it to my partner as his birthday present. He tried connecting it to the internet and it won’t connect to any. We have tried everything… restore to factory settings, restarting, connect to various friends’ wifi networks as well as our own & also through our mobile phones. Nothing!
I sent the eBay Seller a message but they’re just trying to fob me off & wont offer a return or refund even though it said it was under a 12 month guarantee on their website when I bought it.
i cannot open a Return case on eBay as its outside of the sellers 30 day returns window, I’ve contacted them directly via eBay & email & they keep suggesting resetting it etc all the things we’ve already tried & wont offer a return for repair/replacement or refund.
I go on eBay help centre and get an automated reponse re contact Seller… aaargh.
How can I resolve this through eBay as I’m Autistic & getting so frustrated that I cannot get help from the seller or eBay.
I just want a working tablet or my money back. Please help anyone 🙏

Mentor5 months agoThere is nothing you can do through Ebay since you had 30 days from date of delivery to file the Return Request under Ebay's Money Back Guarantee.
Contact the payment source you used to pay for the item to file a dispute.
