Help with a cancellation
An item I was selling was purchased and I printed out the shipping label and used funds from the purchase. Then the buyer cancelled their purchase. I attempted to refund/cancel on my end as well, but it says it cannot cancel because "the item has already been shipped."
I'm confused! Is that just because I printed the label? Is there a way to refund the label and get this buyer back their entire payment?

Mentor2 years ago@kritut66 You need to cancel the sale as buyer requested from the drop down menu next to the sold item on this page> https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS
Then this is how refunds work>
Refunds, even for order cancellations, come out of your available funds not pending or held. If you do not have available funds then eBay charges your back up payment method for selling costs.
Have you entered your backup payment method for selling costs here: https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list Select Manage under the method you want to use then select Preferred for selling costs. I use a credit card.
Once you issue the refund and the buyers funds are released from being held or finish processing then the buyers payment is released to you.
Next you need to VOID/ Cancel the shipping label.
You can void/ cancel the label within 28 days of purchasing it from the actions drop down menu next to the label on this page>
https://www.ebay.com/ship/labels/seller-hub
Then the postal service will refund you in about 3-4 weeks on your all transactions page here>
