Help... Sent an Electronic component that customer says was DOA.
I sent a very low-cost electronic component that was received by customer DOA. I simply wanted to immediately send him a replacement, same item, so I chose to print a second shipping label, not a copy but a new one. It charged me as expected. Trouble is, it's showing up in the Ebay system, not as a second shipment but as already delivered. Hoping the item does show up but the issued tracking number is the one from the first shipment. Just seems like a possible mess headed my way. Time will tell. Question is, what should I have done different since it's not a new sale just a replacement? I won't require the bad unit be sent back as the shipping cost exceeds the value of the little electronic component.
