Help preorder
I pre-ordered a Pokémon item from a seller, and back in January he marked it as “shipped.” I’m assuming he did that to avoid getting penalized for slow handling time since it was a pre-order.
Since then, he’s given multiple excuses about delays and said he had a large number of orders to fulfill. About two weeks ago, he told me he finally received the item and would ship it using Pirate Ship, but I still haven’t received anything.
Now eBay is telling me I can’t file a report because it’s outside the 30-day window from when the item was marked as delivered. The problem is, I never actually received the item—the seller only marked it as shipped.
How can I get this resolved?

Unfortunately, you didn't open a case within 30 days of the estimated delivery date shown in your Purchase History. It's important to adhere to eBay's timeline and ignore the excuses from sellers who string you along.
eBay cannot help now, but you can contact your credit card company to inquire about a charge back.
