Help please... seller sent wrong item
This is so crazy . . . purchased an item, seller sent the wrong item and contacted me to say so. Indicated he'd send a return label but never did. I opened a dispute but evidently did it wrong as I indicated my item did not arrive. The eBay automated system denied my claim because the tracking data showed a box was delivered. Yeah, but it had the wrong item in it! No human could have looked at the data and denied my claim. I showed communications from the seller, photos of the wrong item, etc. I am at a loss as to how to resolve this.
How can I actually get this to a human to read what I submitted rather than some automated algorithm blindly denying my claim??

A human probably didn't look at it - for 'not received' claims they only consider the tracking showing delivery.
Contact eBay CS to open a Return Request, which they should be able to do if the other case is closed.
Then the seller can upload the return label there.
