Help please...
I have a buyer who purchased 4 of the same item. Buyer paid shipping. Address was verified. Label was printed and pkg sent off.
Post office has been trying to deliver it. It is stating not a secure spot to deliver. It does have an apartment number I am guessing its an outside mail pickup? I contacted the buyer 2x via "contact seller" option showing the delivery exception and attempt and no response.
This package is on its way back to me. I no doubt will have to refund them. Do you hold any money back for packaging/labels etc?
This is the first time this has ever happened in my 30 years on ebay.
I appreciate your help, please keep your negative comments to yourself.
Thank you

First, this is the AAM board supported by eBay Mentors and while you may have experienced less than positive comments on other boards our focus here is assisting those who come here asking questions. If any Mentor on this board treats you poorly or with disrespect do not hesitate to use the Report Inappropriate content link on their post.
Regarding the failed delivery and return package you can refund the item cost when you get it back and withhold the original shipping paid by the Buyer. eBay views the "attempted" delivery the same as a delivered package, which means if the Buyer files an INR (Item not received) claim all you do is upload the tracking number to the claim and it will be closed in your favor. If that happens and the Buyer leaves you less than Positive Feedback it will be blocked or automatically removed. Typically eBay removes Feedback on Fridays each week if they qualify for removal. Here is a link to your Seller Protections, you may want to Bookmark this page for future reference. Seller protections | eBay
Below is another thread on a similar issue where a Buyer failed to include their apartment number and the package was returned to the Seller. Failed deliveries happen and eBay tries to protect Sellers when the issue is the Buyer's fault.

If the Buyer still wants the item they can purchase it a second time once you Relist it but they need to address their delivery address issue ... you may want to simply add them to your blocked Buyer list and move on. Buyer Management | eBay
