Help me please
I am writing regarding the case you closed without properly investigating. The seller did not send the package to me. I spoke with customer service in Miami and spoke with a man named Juan Gomez. The seller sent the package to a woman named Evelyn Guillen, who lives at 2745 NW 82nd Ave, Doral, Florida 33198. My address is 8400 NW 25th St, Ste 100, Doral, Florida 33198-1534. My name is Zachee Saintelus. Please speak with him so he can resolve this. I am attaching a screenshot of the email UPS sent me.

Somos voluntarios y solo podemos ofrecerle asesoramiento.
We are volunteers and can only offer ADVICE. We can not refund your money. You need to contact customer service on social media as I advised in my previous reply.
If the social media agent can not help get your money back then you will need to contact your bank or credit card to file a fraud charge back.

OP8 months agoGood morning, I'm writing again to thank you for your advice. The friend who bought the camera from me went to the bank with all the documents I had provided to eBay customer service, and they refused to refund my money. But thank God, after your advice to go to my bank and file a claim, I told my friend, and he went to the bank. After a few weeks, God helped me recover my money, and my friend returned what I had paid him. Thank you. The seller is a thief; he deceived me, but God has helped me, and with your help...

Mentor8 months ago@zachesaintelu_0 I am very glad that you received the refund. I am happy that we could help you.
In the future I strongly recommend only buying from sellers that ship to your country using the eBay International Shipping Program. The seller ships the item to an eBay Hub here in the US and then eBay forwards the item to you in your country. This shipping method has the best buyer protections.
When you forward an item to another country using a private shipping company like the one you use in Florida it voids the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

OP8 months agoBut eBay handled it very badly, even though I told them the seller was a scammer, and they gave him the advantage. If it weren't for God and you giving me the idea to go to my bank, I would have lost the money. Thanks again.

Mentor8 months agoI agree that eBay handles the fake tracking scam very badly.
If you use the eBay international shipping program then the seller can not use fake tracking numbers. Also easy to get refunded if an item is not as described.

I'm sorry that happened. The seller used a fake tracking number.
1) You already did your homework and got proof.
FOR UPS:
You can usually find the weight and other details for UPS here:
https://www.ups.com/track?loc=en_US&requester=ST/
then click " Proof of Delivery"
The proof of delivery may have more details about the delivery site, and the weight. Screenshot that.
2) Then, report the seller using this process
https://www.ebay.com/help/action?topicid=4022
Important, select "The seller has violated one of eBay’s policies"
then "Other"
Explain that the seller is using fake USPS tracking numbers
Include these phrases
Don't write a novel, it's initially being read by a computer, that's why I want you to use those 3 specific phrases in the message.
3) Finally, contact Customer Service and inform them that the seller uploaded a "false tracking number" on your purchase. Request a refund.
Use the Customer Service that is on social media this way:
Just sent a private message to the page. Explain you have a fake or false tracking number situation.
Let me know how this goes, I've been burned a few times myself (including on Amazon), but I have been able to get a refund following this process.
There are additional steps to take if the above isn't effective, just come back and update me.

OP8 months agoThe seller sent it to a person, which is not me.
The tracking information is for someone else, Evelyn Grullen.
The seller used a tracking number not associated with my delivery location. I'm attaching a photo sent to me via UPS.

@inceptions @comics-scifi-collectibles tagging you since you helped in one of the multiple threads from this buyer. I am not sure what steps he has taken so hoping to keep it focused in one thread.

Mentor8 months ago@eastlaneave The buyer @zachesaintelu_0 Lives in another country and used a freight forwarding company which further complicates the situation.
Here's a link to my previous reply so that we can keep things to together:
https://community.ebay.com/t5/Ask-a-Mentor/I-disagree-with-your-result-if-it-was-your-user-who-made-the/td-p/35432981
The buyer shared a photo of another package to show that their real address didn't match the address that the seller shipped to. The mods have removed the photos to protect the private information.
They may have some protection for the false tracking scam but must follow up with social media.
If that doesn't work then they will need to contact their bank or credit card to file a fraud charge back.
