Mentor2 years agoYou will have to wait until your unpaid items age off after one year. You can still purchase items that are buy it now.

·2 years agoWhat error message are you getting when you try, or if no error message what circumstances lead you to your conclusion that you are unable to bid: what page are you on, what blanks do you fill and what links do you click, what happens next vs. what did you expect to happen?
Without that information we can only guess what block you are actually running into.
Did you not pay due to a "technical error" about "transferring the money" for more than one item (even if from the same seller)? That would suggest you have had 2 or more cancellations for unpaid items in the past 12 months (what is your definition of "maybe it happened a long time ago"?). If so whether you can bid/offer/buy depends on the seller you are trying to buy from. Some don't enable that Buyer Requirement (block) at all. Some enable it but at more lenient parameters than the strictest level of blocking anyone with 2 in the past 12 months (some leave it at the defaults which are the lowest number for each parameter--2 strikes in the past 1 month--some long-time sellers haven't updated it from the old maximum timeframe of 6 months, and some for whatever reason choose to give more than second chances--the choices go up to 100 strikes in the lookback period).
So for the strictest level you will no longer be blocked by any seller (for that reason anyway) 12 months (and 1 day) after your second to last strike was issued (I know eBay no longer uses that term but it's a lot easier to type and comprehend than what the PR types decided eBay would call it). For those who don't have it set you can buy right now (assuming no other issues, such as running into your buying limits or another Buyer Requirement by that seller). For any other combination of x strikes in y months they will not apply to you when your xth to last strike is older than y months.
And no, nobody here can "remove that restriction". The seller you are trying to buy from now can exempt you from it if s/he wants, but why would s/he?

OP2 years agoI don't know, maybe it happened a long time ago and I don't remember, it was a technical error and I couldn't transfer the money

Mentor2 years agoHave you had 2 unpaid items in the last year? That would keep you from being able to bid or make offers. Have you purchased from this seller before? If you had a return with them, you could have been blocked. Have you sent numerous messages to this seller? You could have been blocked for that.
I'm just guessing and listing some reasons why you can't bid. In short, if it is with this one seller, move on and find another seller. If it is with multiple sellers, it is probably due to unpaid items.
