Help in reporting a seller who sent me items that were not as described and getting ebay to step in
I ordered gold chains, the description and further details claim Ed they were 14k nowhere does it say that the items are gold plated, silver or may be different item when they arrive. However, when I received all of the jewelry 2 items are silver and the gold looking chain isn't even a precious metal it is picked up by a rare earth magnet, I need help in contacting ebay and having them step in since contacting the seller has not been successful they deny my request constantly and the previous messages tell me the items are silver with gold plating and after requesting a return they do not respond. Please help this is frustrating.

If you receive something, but it is not the item listed, you can open a not as described case to get your money back. You have 30 days from the delivery date to open the case.
https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy...
Go to your purchase history and in the drop down menu for the item select "return this item, Select "Received wrong item" or "Doesn't match description or photos" for the return reason.
The seller will need to provide a return shipping label if they want the item back. Do not close the return, no matter what the seller tells you, until you are satisfied. The seller does not need you to close it to send a replacement or do a refund. If you close it you will not be able to reopen it. Make sure to monitor any deadlines so you don't miss them.
If it has been longer than 30 days you will need to open a refund with your funding source.
