Help getting a refund for missing item
Does anyone know how to re-open a dispute for an item that never was delivered? Last year I pre-ordered Pokemon cards from a seller in China, and the seller has gone radio silent with regards to my order. It cost me $100+ , and my dispute was auto-closed after 30 days.
(The cards were supposed to be delivered last August)
Thanks for any advice at all.

Mentor4 months agoIt sounds like you opened a 30 day money back guarantee case for an item not received. Your seller had 3 days to prove delivery with tracking or refund. If not you needed to return to the case on the 4th day to ask eBay to step in a force a refund. If you didn't the case timed out and closed with no action. At this late date, there is nothing eBay can do. I don't know of any credit cards or funding sources that would refund you after a year. Sorry, but you waited too long and there is nothing that can be done.

OP4 months agoI tried to return to the case before the auto-closure many times--letting eBay know that the seller wasn't responding to me. The funny thing is is that my fiancé contacted them, and they did respond to her and told her that they under-ordered the product and asked if she just wanted her money back. It seems they were picking and choosing who to screw over, and who to honor a refund.
In this case, I fell into the you-get-screwed bucket, and now I can't even leave feedback/review for the order to warn others.
