HELP!!! ANYONE HAVE LISTING LAGGING ISSUES???
hello all!
i have somewhat a weird question, but need to check and see if anyone else experiences the same types of issues that i am having.
i primarily list trading cards. football, baseball, magic, pokemon and so on, so if you don't list in these categories you will probably have no idea what i am referring to.
anyway, i can list any sports card all day long with no issues whatsoever. however, once i start listing magic or pokemon cards, the physical process of listing starts to lag. told you it was a strange question. there are lags between 5, 10, and even up to 30 seconds. it will happen predominantly in the title when the cursor doesn't even move and when you click the blue list it button at the bottom. at times, it occurs when deleting and adding pictures. it gets even stranger. it doesn't happen all the time, but in spurts and fits. good for five minutes, bad for two and vice versa. AND when it occurs my computer's fans really start to kick into overdrive. i really don't get that.
i initially thought it could my computer, but why can i list sportscards with no issues. to test out my theory, i used a laptop that i have and the EXACT SAME THING occurred.
so i guess i am trying to ask any of those of you that list trading cards, did you have a similar problem, and if so, how did you fix it? it's not the machine. i have cleared my cache a couple of times. i've also deleted and made new templates. these are the most logical items that come to mind. so if anyone else has run into this, i know it's a long shot, please share what you have done to make listing easier.
