Help - account automatically banned.
Yesterday I created a new account with the intention of selling trading cards. I attached my banking info, added a credit card for checkouts, created new policies for returns, shipping and payment. I was then permanently banned from eBay as a whole.
I uploaded 9 trading cards with my own personal scans made with my own machine and my own cards via CardUploader as a test for myself to see how everything on eBay worked, what my side looked like and how CardUploader interacted with eBay. This is a very common thing in the trading card space. I’ve seen many use this to upload 50+ cards at a time and schedule listing uploads throughout the week.
Within 10 minutes of uploading my listings and adjusting prices on my listings, I was permanently banned. I cannot get in contact with anyone at eBay to plead my case and prove that I’m not the malicious actor that the system seems to think that I am. I understand eBay has to combat the hundreds of thousands of bots that plague the internet, but I am not one of them!!
I’m willing to provide any and all documents to help my case but the automated system said it has confirmed its decision and I am completely banned as a person from ever selling on the platform. Can anyone help me get in contact with an agent or someone who can see that I’m just someone who wants to sell trading cards?
I would greatly appreciate any and all help with this.
