Help.
Not too long ago, I ordered a 400+ LBS shed that was about $330. The tracking details claimed that it was delivered but I have not seen my package anywhere. Went down to the United States Postal Service office, and was told that the seller put a different address to send it that was nearby. Not only did the seller sent a package to the wrong address, the USPS told me that the item sent was definitely not a 400lbs shed and was a 15.9 oz size package instead that was sent to a different address. All in all, I still have not received my package and tried to dispute but was denied.. the case ended saying it was denied.. but I can not let this go because I was scammed and my money was taken. Please help! Any possibilities to do the case again?

Mentor1 year agoThe first clue of a scam is that the USPS does not deal with any package over 70 pounds. There would be no way to ship a shed through the USPS. Only a shipping company could handle that weight and size of item.
Of you can get on postal service letterhead the information that they told you then you can use it in an appeal to eBay. It needs to be an original on letterhead and not an email to you.

Have USPS put all that information in writing on their letterhead. Then you can file an appeal with Ebay.

OP1 year agoThank you for responding. What if the appeal isn't available? I had to go through a whole wait process with the bank and ebay. Unfortunately that took about a month and a half.

Mentor1 year agoThe USPS has a limit of 70 pounds.
The bots see that tracking states DELIVERED so you will automatically lose an Item Not Received case.
Take the tracking down to the carrier and have them check their GPS coordinates to see exactly where the package was delivered. Then you upload a copy of that letterhead into an appeal, to get your money back. If not to your address, the carrier should try and retrieve the package.
