I can't reach anyone I have proof that the seller isn't complying. They tell me I need to return the item by a certain date the seller sent me a return label but the seller admitted they did not send it and they are going to send it they don't want me to return it. eBay approved return how much supposed to get my money back if no one will investigate this?

Mentor8 months agoSo you were refunded? The seller does not have to take the item back. It is perfectly fine with eBay if the seller just refunds without asking for the item to be returned. If they waited for eBay to step in, they received a defect on their seller account. eBay wants sellers to take care of returns/refunds through the automated system without getting involved.

OP8 months agoeBay finally went in and fixed it for me but yeah the seller just refused to do anything told me to keep the item even though it wasn't the item I was expecting there was an AI thing that popped up telling them that the seller was getting hostile with me.

OP8 months agoYep they sent me a message in my inbox telling me to cancel my return and they don't want to pay me that I should have read the description better. I had like several other people read the description and ask them what they thought they were buying and they all thought the same thing I did so I didn't feel like I was in the wrong. I had no use for the item that she sent me. I just can't believe how rude they were and then after I got an AI message saying the seller was getting hostile with the buyer they suddenly started apologizing but still insisted they weren't going to do anything eBay finally stepped in.

Mentor8 months agoIf the seller does not want to pay return shipping to get the item back, s/he can simply refund through the returns request you filed. If you do not receive a link to print out the return shipping label, or a full refund, go back to the returns request on day 4 and click Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.

OP8 months agoThank you, eBay finally stepped in. I honestly don't know if I'll use eBay again because of how hard it was to reach someone. After 2 weeks of calling I finally got a human being to talk to me but it was very stressful.
