Hello, are you still there?
Hello, fellow ebay sellers.
Have any of you encountered a new / old trick from Ebay customer service (that turned into a joke and no service and no respect at all) when they don't wan't to assist you or simply want to **bleep** you off and pretend they "lost" connection, repeating "Hello... anybody there?..." while the connection has been so perfect that I heard the background noises in assistants house?
And sure, she hung up.
Ebay has turned into a pitiful place where you cannot get in touch with a live person and if you do get, you are being treated with disrespect.
Ebay has their "fact checkers" that have no competence and no way to contact them. Only internal associates can contact them... Hmmm... That reminds me of many recent events on social media platforms.
So my next question is, is there any seller or group of sellers that are thinking of class action suit?

OP3 years agoUsed cosmetics policy, ha.
I was already aware of their changes, and that particular listing was for all new perfume samples in their original packagings, but as they were not very desireable, I was offering a free gift sample, and Ebay took it as a sale.
I called their totally destroyed customer service, and got transfered to resolutions, where black girl that answered was extremely rude, annoyed by me and my questions to the point where at the end of conversation she played and old trick "Hello, are you there? Hello... If nobody's speaking, I will have to end conversation, thank you for contacting Ebay bla bla bla". She could hear me as connection was perfect, I could hear background sounds in her place.
So this is what they call "customer service".
I was also told that they have their fact checkers that remove listings and there is no way to contact them. Pretty much as youtube or facebook.

·3 years agoWe hear about class action suits all the time, but no one goes on with them because they know it'll be a waist of time.
Why was the item removed?
