·3 years agoIf you tried to log in with a social media account , which might have been linked to a different email, it is possible to create a new account. You would still be able to use your email to log into your original account.
If your original account has been dormant for a number of years, then it is likely that eBay closed the account due to lack of activity. eBay will send a request at least once a year to log in and verify your data. If a member ignores those emails and does not regularly access the site, eBay may close the account to prevent account hijacking.
