Heads up! never stop payment from bank!
I stopped payment on a scammer from my bank. Now I owe Paypal and Ebay won't do anything about it.
Seller is long gone, Ebay knows it but will do nothing. The one time I don't trust the buyer protection plan.
20yrs with Ebay and they won't do a thing. Buyer beware. Ebay will not help you if you stop payment to a scammer from your bank. Spread the word. Ebay doesn't tell you that. Just a heads up!

Ebay DOES inform buyers that if they file a dispute/chargeback through their bank that Ebay can no longer help the buyer.
According to the Ebay Money Back Guarantee:
Even if a transaction is eligible for eBay Money Back Guarantee, buyers can lose protection if they:

OP1 year agoI've been a Member since: Dec 08, 2001, this seller is already gone. Sold as many items as I have bought.
It's not the money, it's the way Ebay has treated me, Yeah I got scammed, I've got a few good deals from new users and I gave this new person the benefit of the doubt only to find out later after I had paid, there was another scammer doing the same thing. I tried to cancel but that's up to the seller, that sold 4 of these only to leave and no longer a registered user of ebay. the other person from another state was doing the same thing.
I didn't want this scammer to have my money so I figured I could stop payment. Who reads this fine print?
Apparently I should have. And I still don't see where it says charge back. Maybe under duplicate claims.
But why would I after 24yrs want to scam someone for $76.80
