Hazmat or DOT Labels
Anyone that can help me ASAP ‘I sold a 4 oz bottle of cologne - eBay is suppose to have those labels for buyers correct ? I can find no options for my buyer to purchase.. any suggestions?

You would mark it as Hazardous before you print the label.
On the Print Label screen, underneath the weight and dimensions, look for
"this package contains" or "Contains non-hazardous materials"
Click that.
Select "Limited Quantity Ground Package"
When you print the label, it will have an H instead of a G at the top.
The print one of these to apply
Hand this to the carrier or postal clerk.

OP4 months agoThank you very much ‘ But .. my problem is getting deeper ‘ ( 1) wouldn’t the buyer do that from there end when they purchase the label ? 2) I’m unable to alter the label that the buyer purchased when they bought the item - If I’m misunderstanding you Please could you help me further understand any possible ways to do the steps in your original text on the already purchased label from EBay -Id be grateful - because it would solve 1 problem with this transaction today -

No, the buyer may pay shipping,
the seller buys the label 100% of the time.
If you got a label, you can cancel it and request a new one.
Here's how to cancel (or void) an unused shipping label you purchased on eBay:
- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/labels/my-ebay
- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.
- Choose your reason for canceling the label.
- Select Cancel shipping label.
You have 28 days to cancel a label. The refund will come about 21 days after you cancel.
Then, you can print another label:
1) Go to the order https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold
2) Select View Order Details, then Get Another Label <<==
3) Enter the correct weight and dimensions for your package, SELECT the Hazmat settings, and select Shipping Method and the correct label will print.

OP4 months agoThank you ‘ Is the entire label the same - it just changes the G to an H ? I’m having a bad day ‘ I’m not understanding how to generate or add these Hazmat/ DOT to a pre paid label that EBay sent me ,that was pd by the buyer .

The buyer pays you the shipping and you use that to purchase the label. The buyer nor eBay purchases the shipping label.
The buyer's payment to eBay includes the item, the shipping you set on your listing, and any tax they owe. eBay takes their selling fees out and sends you the balance.
When you go to the eBay labels page you are purchasing the shipping label. Part of the process is to verify that the package information matches your actual package and you have selected the correct carrier and service. You can change the weight and dimensions if you need to. If you are not seeing the option to make changes or the hazardous materials options look for a link to switch to the advanced labels page. Follow the instructions @eastlaneave gave you above to get the correct hazmat label.
