Having Trouble Returning Item I Bought on eBay
Hello eBay Mentor. I hope you can help me with my issue. I bought an automobile part off eBay, but it's different from the part in my car. I want to return it, but it's not listed in my purchase history, so going through the usual return process can't be done. I used PayPal to purchase the part and took advantage of PayPal's "Pay in 4" program that allows me to pay off the purchase over four payment (2-week increments). Not sure if this is why the purchase isn't showing up on my purchase history. I contacted PayPal and they told me to work with eBay Commerce to arrange the refund. But the automated assistant only want to focus on items in my purchase history. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible you made the purchase using a different eBay account? If so, sign out of this account, sign in to that account and then find the transaction in your Purchase History and go from there.
If you are sure you are signed in to the correct account, the purchase should be among your recent orders seen here:

OP8 months agoI appreciate your reply to my question regarding my difficulty with returning an item I purchased on eBay. It turns out I purchased this while I wasn’t logged into my account. Therefore, I purchased the item as “a guestâ€. Once I realized this, I searched my Confirmation email on the purchase and found the link that took me to the return process for the seller. The novice slowly becomes the mentor. Ha ha. Thanks again.
