Having trouble getting paid because shipping method was changed
I recently sold an item on eBay. The initial shipping method was USPS. Because of the items wait I had to change it to FedEx. Client has received the item. I have a FedEx tracking number that I would like to get you guys to look at to notice the item has been received. Please help

OP1 year agoItem now shows it was shipped by fed ex. It was delivered 12/23. Will ebay look for this tracking number and see it was delivered and release the funds to my account?
Also, I will need to be refunded the shipping cost from USPS.

Mentor1 year agoIf you printed a label using USPS, you can VOID/cancel the label.

You have 28 days from date of printing to void the label. The USPS will credit your account in 2-3 weeks when they have determined the label was never used.

No, eBay does not "look" for tracking numbers. If that tracking number is on the transaction it will show that the item was delivered and eBay's programming will know that. Your funds will be on hold up to 30 days as mentioned on my first post and you can read the link I provided about Payments on hold. This is standard procedure for eBay, nothing you can do about it.
As @disneyshopper mentioned, you can CANCEL the USPS label you purchased and that money will be credited to your account in 21 days or less.

Check the sold file and make sure a tracking number is on the transaction. If it is then you are just experiencing a normal Hold (up to 30 days) on payments for New Sellers, you can read about that here: Payments on hold | eBay
