Haven't sold on ebay in years, will listing a lot of items raise red flags?
I have sold and bought items throughout the years on ebay. Member since 2002. The wife and I are looking to clean out our house of things we do not use or need anymore. I have about 35 things sitting in the draft stage ready to be listed. If things go well, we want to continue to list more items. If I list all 35 items at once, will it raise red flags and put my account on hold? My activity has been sporadic of the years sometimes going months to years with little activity. Should I release 5 items at a time or just list everything at once.
Thanks for any Advise
Phil

I would list 1 item, then check your personal selling limit on your selling homepage. eBay tends to put a very low limit on accounts with prior but no recent selling activity to protect the account.
If your limit allows it, I don’t think there is much difference to the bots between listing 5 items each day and 35 at once, but I would do 5 a day. That way, you have some items showing as newly listed for more days.
If your limit is set very low - like $10, try contacting customer service. They may want to verify your identity before raising your limit.
To speak to customer service, use the link on the right side of this page “have us call you†- https://www.ebay.com/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid
If you don't see 'have us call you', click chat. Then type contact an agent.

OP1 year agoThank you so much for your insight. I will list them slowly and watch my sellers page.
And thank you for the link to customer service, I would have probably been hunting for that link all day if I had and issue.
Thanks Again
